eBay 10p Listings Day

On Thursday 29th November, eBay are giving sellers a bit of a pre-Christmas bonus. All listings will cost just 10p each, though there are a few exceptions. All other fees remain unchanged.

To benefit from the 10p listing day, sellers who list one or more items in an eligible category using the Auction-style, Auction-with-Buy It Now or Buy It Now Only (Fixed Price) formats and offer PayPal as a payment method will pay a 10 pence Insertion Fee per item they list.

ebay charge half price on insertions

On Thursday 1st November eBay have decided to slash their insertion fees by half. This is a fantastic time to sell your unwanted items and raise some needed funds for Christmas. The half price offer is valid for any items which are for sale where Paypal is accepted as a method of payment.

eBay Free Listing Days

eBay are having a free listing days for their Motors category. So if you have a car or bike you want to sell, then these are the days to do it. The Motors Free Listing Days are 15th/16th September, just post your vehicle for sale on either of the two days and you will not be charged the £8 listing fee.

Here are some other reasons to sell your vehicle on Ebay Motors:

A car is sold every 2 minutes (on average)
35 million potential buyers visit eBay Motors each month.
Oh and did we mention that the £8 listing fee will be dropped on the 15th/16th September?

Ebay Easy Sell Form

For those of you who find it a bit daunting to sell on eBay, then it has just become really easy. The guys at eBay have created an Easy Sell Form.

The Easy Sell Form, is basically a six step form which enables you to complete your item listing in just a few minutes, and without all the complicated options, so is perfect for anyone who wants to start selling on eBay.

Step One:
Insert your eBay ID. If you do not have one, you will need to Register on Ebay first to be able to use this form to sell.

Step Two:
Choose the title for your listing.

Step Three:
Select a category, this is made easier, as eBay has a list of suggested categories for you to choose from based upon your title. If none of these are suitable you can browse to find the right category too.

Step Four:
The description. Here you will write your advert part for the item you are selling.

Step Five:
Choose postage options

Step Six:
Choose payment options

That’s it, your item is ready to be listed. Hit submit and it’s live on eBay.
