iTeddy has been launched, this creation was first featured on the BBC’s Dragon’s Den program, where it received mixed reaction. The Dragon’s however backed this venture, and the first iTeddy’s are arriving on the shelves. The iTeddy is priced at £59.99 and you will only find them available at Argos.
The iTeddy is an interactive teddy bear with a detachable personal media player built in. An LCD Screen and integrated speakers brings audio and visual fun to your youngsters. It is available as a brown or white bear, and comes complete with 512MB of internal memory, a rechargeable battery, detachable media player, an SD expansion slot, and a USB cable to connect to your computer.
The iTeddy plays AAC, WMA and MP3 audio files, and AVI, WMV and MPEG video files, and with the cable you can transfer these direct to the bear, to play. There are titles available on the iTeddy site available for download, especially from the BBC Audio range, along with free content for you too.
Tipped to become this Christmas’s best selling toy, it maybe wise to order your iTeddy early as I’m sure it will be a sell out and stock will be very limited.
