HMV are renowned for their Offers of the Week, where they reduce the prices on a number of items to what could only be described as silly money.  These offers are only available for a week and are as follows:

Planet of the Apes Complete Collection
A 6 DVD Boxset featuring all 5 of the Planet of the Apes feature films.  There’s a bonus disc entitled ‘Behind the Planet of the Apes’ which is about the making of the films.  This set has been reduced by a massive £41 to only £8.99

Ben Hur : 4 disc Special Edition
This special edition 4 disc DVD set has the entire film starring Charlton Heston, and bonuses of the silent version from 1925 and a making of documentary too.  The set has a RRP of £24.99, but for this week you are able to order it for only £6.99

Tudors
The third DVD on offer this week is another period  drama, this time  telling the tale of Henry VIII.  The Tudors comes on 3 discs and retails at £29.99, for this week you can order it for just £12.99

Firstly Essential Club Anthems: 15 Years of… which is a 3 disc set of all the club anthems from the past 15 years.  With a retail price of £16.99, it’s available to you for only £9.99 this week.

The 3rd CDthis week is the new album from Cascada - Perfect Day.  This title has been reduced by £10 to just £8.99.

Whilst visiting HMV I thought I’d take a look around to see what else they had on offer, and found that they are reaching the end of a whopping great clearance sale.  They have slashed the prices on hundreds if not thousands of DVDs, CDs and Games some by an incredible 75%.  If you’re looking for a particular item, then check out the price at HMV, with all those reductions, you will probably find it cheapest at HMV.

Remember HMV now offer free delivery on all items as standard, and buying online means their prices are a lot lower than their retail shops.

For those of you who haven’t met Robosapien before, then read on we will introduce him to you.

These can be controlled by the remote, by setting movements - puppet style, or by using any of the preset demo movements. No matter what movements there are, these can be built on to provide a unique Robot for you. When in puppet mode, you can position and move the Robosapien as you wish to form complex movements, which it will remember, or you can edit with the accompanying software package too. The Robosapien has huge repertoire of speech, which again can be built on.

Built into the head of the Robosapien RS Media, is a camera which give the user the ability to see where he goes, and truly remotely control him. Playback is shown on the LCD TFT Screen. There is a flaash memory which you can store files or music, which the Robosapien is able to replay through it’s in-built speakers.

In short this version of the Robosapien is far more programmable and the flexibility of uses is second to none, whether as a true robotics toy, or indeed as a media playing storage device too. Check out the following video showing the Robosapien RS Media’s full potential:
