The AA Driving school, part of the Automobile Association was launched in 1990, and currently employs more than 2,000 fully qualified driving instructors.

Anyone thinking of learning to drive with the AA will receive one-on-one AA driving lessons, with no picking up other pupils as part of your lesson - An hour-long driving lesson means you learn to drive for an hour, not spend 10-15 minutes picking up or dropping off other pupils or waiting for your instructor to get a cup of tea.

All AA driving school pupils will learn to drive in a brand-new Ford Focus car - AA driving lessons can be booked online through their website www.theaa.com/drivingschool, and you'll receive a discount of £2 per hour when booking online if you book more than 12 hours of driving lessons

Another advantage of learning to drive with the AA driving school is the support you will receive after you have passed your test, with pass plus support available, as well as an AA welcome pack to help you get on the road, including tips and discounts for safety and learner driver car insurance.

All qualified AA driving instructors will have completed between 12 and 18 months of training before being allowed to offer driving lessons. They are very highly vetted, and have to follow an AA syllabus, as well as comply with a strict code-of-conduct as you would expect from a trusted name as the AA.

The lessons are flexible, and adapt to your driving skills and individual requirements when learning to drive with the AA Driving School. On avergae, you will need around 45 AA driving lessons to pass your driving test.
