When you become a member at www.lovefilm.com, you will need to choose the right package for you, depending on how many DVDs you tend to watch in a month, and how many DVDs you would like to have at the same time (bearing in mind there is normally a 3 working day gap between sending your DVD back and receiving your next one - If you watch a DVD on the Saturday night, and pop it in the post on Monday, your next DVD will probably arrive on the Thursday, so it maybe worth keeping a few discs at home so there's always something to watch.)

Once you have selected the best package for you, you will need to create your wishlist. Again, this is done by logging into your account at www.lovefilm.com. Lovefilm suggest that you keep around 20 titles in your wishlist, and you can prioritise them so the ones you're itching to see will be sent to you first. As you send each DVD back, you will be sent another title from your wishlist. You can even create several lists, for his and Hers DVDs, or separate lists for the kids, or TV series, or whatever - it's up to you!

You can even add games to your lovefilm wishlist - PS2, xbox 360 and Wii games are all supported. They do count as part of your DVDs at home allowance, and the subscription payment is a little higher, but it's a great way of trying out games before deciding whether to buy them.
